For all of the adults who actually grew up in fosterage, and for those who wish that they had. You will understand that extra support is needed for the academic success of these children.

Foster Care Institute-Illinois is a Not-For-Profit Educational Organization proposing the opening of a school whose curricular concept is "Emotional Preparedness for Academic Readiness" of emotionally challenged young learners.  

If you believe as we do, that any child suffering emotional and/or associative behavioral challenges, could benefit academically from a school that focuses on their unique educational needs, then we need your help.

Foster Care Institute-Illinois (FCI-I), has received restricted government grants earmarked for specific uses. We need donations of un-restricted funds or in-kind services for field trips, student forums, and student lead community events that further
promote the need for this type of school in suburban Cook County.
