Dr. Barbara Jones-Jackson is a published author, and holds a doctorate in education,
(Curriculum & Instruction). She is a State Certified School Administrator. Dr. Jackson's experiences in
assessment include student, faculty, staff, and program evaluations. She has served as a school district negotiator
and as a Public Programs Manager for South Suburban School Superintendents while building extensive and positive community
relationships.
Dr. Jackson's expertise in governance, management, and school law comes from her
12 plus years of school administration. The 12 years in school administration includes: high school dean of students, elementary
school principal, director of curriculum, and a former owner/operator of an ISBE registered non-public school, whose focus
was the education of special needs children and children of fosterage.
Dr. Jackson serves as the Surrogate Parent
for the educational purposes of several students. She is an Illinois State Board of Education provider of professional development,
a mentor for 1st year principals, and has served as an assistant professor of Education Administration.
