We Are Foster Care Institute-Illinois
Foster Care Institute-Illinois is coming to the South Suburbs. It will be the only
Charter School in the South Suburbs and the only one of its kind in the State of Illinois.
We serve children in grades 3rd through 6th. School is open each day until 6:00 P.M. - offering: tutoring,
homework assistance, counseling, math and reading resources, and academic clubs.
Philosophy
We believe that indeed, all children can learn. That no two children learn in the same way, and that children with
behavioral and emotional challenges possess uniques educational needs that are germaine to their academic success.
Mission Statement
The mission of Foster Care Institute-Illinois is to provide for the unique educational needs of children
of fosterage, and children with emotional and social challenges, especially children of fosterge.
To promote the well-being of foster children and their families, providing support and resources necessary for children
and their families to be successful in the communities in which they live.
To reach each
child, and teach that child good citizenry.

- Hours of Operation 8 am - 6 pm Monday - Friday.
- Extended Day program 3 pm - 6 pm - offering tutoring, academic clubs, and counseling.
- Maximum Daily Direct Instruction.
